Qualifications and Training in
Hand and Microsurgery
Khader Muqtadir, M.D. attended medical school at the University Of Buffalo, New York and also completed a residency in general surgery at that institution. He was the recipient of the Theodore Jewett M.D. Gold Star Resident Of the Year Award in 2003. He then did a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the Department of Orthopaedics. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Muqtadir’s interests in hand surgery include arthroscopy of the wrist and small joints of the hand as well as vascularized bone grafting for scaphoid non-union.
