If you and your surgeon decide that surgery is your best option, we can help. Many of our patients who require surgery choose to stay out of the hospital and in the outpatient setting, with same day surgery.
Tampa Bay Hand Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and an integral affiliate to Tampa Bay Hand Center. Our ASC is state-of-the-art and fully accredited by AHCA and CMS. We staff a top-notch team of board-certified surgical professionals to ensure an efficient, easier, and less stressful experience for our patients.
We perform surgeries in our ASC every Wednesday and strive to accommodate a very short wait time from scheduling to surgery date. Often we can schedule our patients within two weeks or less, depending on your condition and insurance requirements.
Tampa Bay Hand Surgery Center accepts a wide range of insurances and payment options. Nearly every payer and patient finds us to be the far more affordable and practical option. Call us today for an estimate.
HOSPITAL SURGERY
Not all of our patients are good candidates for surgery in our ASC. Reasons for this may include heart conditions or other comorbidities or illnesses. Other patients may prefer the hospital for personal reasons. Our surgeon is credentialed at multiple local hospitals to include BayCare and AdventHealth. Outpatient hospital surgery is performed outpatient every Tuesday. You and your surgeon can decide which option makes sense for you, depending on your individual needs and circumstances.
